Maite joined the Tax Department of Ernst & Young (now EY) in 1991, immediately after completing her degree, where she worked for more than 16 years. She later went on to lead the International Taxation department in a mid-sized firm. Throughout her career, she has combined her professional work with teaching activities, serving as a speaker in tax courses and workshops, as a lecturer in a Master’s programme at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and as author or contributor to various tax-related articles and publications. She has been a partner at the Firm since 2016.
